About Us

I’ve been in the business of sales and marketing for over 40 years. My two co-authors have been in the world of online and digital marketing almost from the beginning… some 20 years.

We wrote this book On Growing Your Business for entrepreneurs and salespeople with serious sales goals and no time to waste.

William D. Hughes has more than forty years of professional sales, marketing, and business management experience. He has held executive level positions with large and small companies. Since 1990 he has worked with 50 plus small-to-medium-size companies to increase revenues, profits, and corporate valuation through time-efficient, innovative business strategies, coupled with results-driven sales and marketing programs. 

Bill attended Ocean College in New Jersey and the University of Virginia. He has been a guest lecturer at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey and National University in San Diego, California.

Bill joined the USMC right after high-school and rose to the position of Sergeant.  He is a Director with the Advanage Foundation, a Community Development Corporation helping young inner-city Americans develop skills and disciplines to get a decent job. Also worked with the “Communities in Schools” board in Compton, CA.

Michael Hughes has been in the digital marketing field since 1999. He has helped thousands of businesses increase sales and realize profitable returns from their online marketing investments. 

Finding prospective buyers for businesses of all sizes and shapes has given him insider access to some of our nation’s most innovative and successful entrepreneurs. That experience along with his technical prowess have made him a highly sought-after online business consultant. 

Michael specializes in Search Engine Optimization and Marketing, Paid Search Advertising, and Conversion Optimization. He received a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Sonoma State University.

Aastha Verma is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park, where she received her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s in system engineering. 

Her company, Project Rescue Consulting.com specializes in translating concepts into deliverables to help companies, particularly start-ups, transform their visions into market-ready products. 

Aastha has also consulted for the federal government on cross collaborative and cloud-based platforms for cybersecurity applications. And she has been helping them adopt emerging cloud technologies as they transform and modernize legacy systems and architecture. 

She is also a regular commentator on a nationally syndicated Indian news and opinion program. She is well connected with the movers and shakers in the Indian community who provide IT services or are liaisons to Fortune 100 companies across the country.
